EO Supported Employment specialists continuously seek meaningful job opportunities with local employers in Clark County, WA, and the surrounding area including Portland, OR, that are suitable for individuals with developmental disabilities. We help employers determine whether they have jobs, or portions of jobs, that would be appropriate for individuals with developmental disabilities. We may provide “job customization” analysis to identify a position that can be created that fits the skills of one of our clients and fills a specific essential need of an employer. There is no cost to the employers for these services as they are funded by government and school district contracts awarded to EO Supported Employment.

This training and support extends to resources to troubleshoot any problems for as long as the individual is employed at your company.
  3. Tax Credits: In many instances, Work Opportunity Tax Credits are available as a result of employing individuals with developmental disabilities.
  4. Diversification: Educating your current team and diversifying your workforce to integrate an employee with developmental disabilities into your organization results in workforce and customer benefits.
