Employers Overload’s CEO has been with the company since 1969, our Longview Licensee since 1978, our Risk Manager since 1984, our Corporate Trainer since 1987, our Accounting Manager since 1988, our President since 1990, our MIS Manager since 1992, two of our Payroll Operators since 1993, our Ohio Licensee since 2002, and our EO Branch Managers include tenure from 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2004, along with two of our Area Account Managers since 2003.

Peter J. Szambelan, CEO
Pete joined Employers Overload in 1969 as Branch Manager in Portland, Oregon. He became a Western Region Manager and then a franchise owner of EO for Oregon and Washington in 1974. In 1988 Pete became CFO of Employers Overload. Pete graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Portland. Pete is a true “people person” and his philosophy of “helping people succeed” and treating people well is the foundation of our company culture and values.
Thomas P. Szambelan, President
Tom joined Employers Overload in 1990 in the Beaverton Branch office with the Technical Division, became the Director of Operations in 1995, and President in 2000. Tom Szambelan graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Tom has helped create a friendly and professional organization through adherence to EO’s mission and core values, while investing in the development of Employers Overload’s teams, service offerings, systems and technology.
James E. Dodson, VP of Marketing & Branch Operations
Jim joined Employers Overload in 2007 to lead our Employers Overload Branch operations, along with the EO Professional Solutions division. Jim graduated from Oregon State University with a
B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. His career has included a number of years in sales leadership within the Financial Service Industry. His more recent experience includes nearly 10 years of recruiting and leadership in Accounting, Finance, I.T. and Professional placements with some of the largest staffing companies in the world.
Judy M. Nuxall, Risk Manager
Judy joined Employers Overload in 1984 as a Staffing Professional at our downtown Portland, Oregon branch. Since 1988 Judy has been Employers Overload’s leader in risk management, including workers’ compensation, unemployment, human resources, and collections. Her career prior to Employers Overload includes work within Human Resources at a national income tax and accounting services organization and as a paraprofessional in the tax accounting department within an international accounting firm.
